So I did a conference call with this new lawyer and I was like, Okay, let's say that the stuff that got written about in the Financial Times really happened. Why do people seem to think that if Nancy and Fred forged some documents and gave 7.5 million options to me, that somehow I had something to do with this? Where is the connection to me? I just don't see it. If anything, I'm the victim here. I mean, I didn't put my name on the documents. They did.
And then I was like, So what do you think? Can we run with this?
By then of course I had the lawyer fully hypnotized -- yes, I can do this to people over the phone, not just in person -- and he was like, Ya know what? It makes sense to me. I'll get back to you. Not to worry. Enjoy your holiday.

What if the whole options story is fake, planted by fake Steve, in order to temporarily depress the stock price so fake Steve could acquire shares,knowing when the fake was uncovered the shares would rise in value giving fake Steve a very handsome profit, very handsome indeed. I mean who's to say, that the fake documents themselves weren't faked. Bloody brilliant.

4: Auction two dozen copies actually printed on eBay for huge bucks.

I'm sure even if you did do it (Hypothetically, of course), you will leave this mess behind and emerge unscathed.
To me the answer is easy - I'm sure you have some guys that walk around the campus with you, who, you know, totally dig the Jobsmeister. The guys who treat you like god, and love every minute of working for you, even if you treat them like dirt.
These guys would throw themselves infront of a bullet to save you.
Well just give these guys a bonus, and get them to take the fall for you. Get them to 'admit' it was them. I'm sure they would be honored to have such an important part in your life.
