Dvorak: Dysfunctional Microsoft culture drives away creative types

See here. And yeah I know what you're thinking because I'm thinking it too. Dvorak said that? Is this the same Dvorak? The guy ghostwrites Ballmer's blog? We're looking into it.

FSJ,
Ghandi, one of your think different heros, was once asked what he thought of western culture. His answer, "It would be a good idea."
One can say the same about M$. If they could just get it a little bit, they would be a worthwhile competitor.

Isn't that already known? I mean.. I would work for a company like Google, where I have complete chaos, than some over-managed company like Microsoft. Apple is that happy mediumish to me.

I'm betting that you (Stevie) gave Dvorak a free iPhone; he'e been bashing the Borg lately and kissing Apple's ass till his lips are chapped.

Dvorak's opportunistic ass rolls back and forth like a huge ball between camps, depending on whichever side seems to be winning. He is just trying to wash years of sin by now appearing to "like" Apple and dislike Microsoft. Cheap. Very cheap!

I don't think that Bungie/Halo really fits into the MS culture. It never really has. It made money, yes, but I get the feeling that it's about more than money at Microsoft, especially when Bill is around(like "I have enough money already, let's do something different"). If only Steve Jobs was more like this.(note: flame bait). When is SPJ going to go, " I have enough money already, let's do something different."? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

For the thoughtful types, it's gotta be embarassing to work for a monkey that thinks screaming developer developer is cool. They'd find any way to get out of there.
The ones who stay because they are clueless remain clueless.
Result: The ape leading the blind.

Sorry Steve, if Dvorak says it, it must be wrong. I was actually thinking that setting Bungie free while keeping a financial interest was unusually inspired. I mean since when to the Borg let anyone disassimilate?
